Worship

Worship is the response we have and the actions we take in that response to the recognition that God is the Sovereign Lord of our lives. This response includes many different "acts" of worship to include, but certainly not limited to, singing spiritual songs to and about God, reading His Holy texts, evangelizing, praying to God, living our lives intentionally in a manner that is worthy of the Gospel (Phil 1:27), and so much more! It's important to understand that worship cannot and should not be confined to a single act. Our whole lives, as believers, should be a never-ending act of worship as we recognize, learn, and respond to what God has done through the perfect work of His Son, Jesus Christ.

At FBCF, one of the ways we respond in worship is by following the model in Colossians 3:16 where Paul is telling the people of Colossae to "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." You will find a large assortment of song choices and styles that are ingrained with Biblical truths being sung in a group of believers who have a deep and sincere passion to love and worship God in this manner!

Our heart is that we would be a people of God who desire to worship Him in every aspect of our lives. Our weekly gatherings at FBCF are meant to simply serve as a catalyst (and an overflow) to our daily personal worship of our Great God.
