Mosaic Women’s Bible Study: Walking Wisely
Fall 2019 through Spring 2020
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17
Mosaic Women’s Bible Study meets every Wednesday morning (10 a.m. to noon), and evening (6:30 to 8 p.m.) at Fisherville Baptist Church. The fall semester ends on November 6. The winter-spring semester begins on January 8 and ends on April 29. We will be digging into wisdom literature this year, beginning with the book of James in the fall, and Proverbs beginning in January. This is where the “rubber hits the road” as we grow in walking “not as unwise, but as wise, making the best use of our time…understanding what the will of the Lord is.”
Participants will be working a lesson at home weekly for 30 to 40 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Each woman will be part of a small group where the lesson is shared through discussion, followed by a teaching session which will enhance what we have learned through homework and discussion. We use lessons generated by Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California (John MacArthur, pastor). Childcare is provided, but children must be preregistered.
Cost is $40/year or $20/semester. Registration may be completed online below. You may also contact Betty Humphrey at 502-418- 0104 (call or text) or firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up. New attendees are welcome at any time.
You can pay at the first session you attend.
We would love to have you take this walk with us.
